Welcome to the Helium Finance Professionals Contest!

We’ve created a contest just for finance professionals at Helium. It will tap their unique financial knowledge and experience.

How the Finance Contest works:

• Each contest consists of a four-week writing period. Please submit magazine-style articles that are NOT in the first person point of view, unless the title specifically asks for it.
• Participants must have one of these badges at Helium: Certified: CPA, Certified: Financial Planner/Advisor or Certified: Financial Services.
• If you’re a member and a finance professional and want to participate in this contest, but don’t have one of our finance professional badges, email your About Me page URL and a state licensing website link with information needed to verify your credentials to experts@helium.com.
• Submission dates: Wednesday, November 25, at 16:00 GMT to Tuesday, December 22, at 23:59 GMT. (Get your current GMT time: Type in “current time gmt” into a Google search window.)
• Awaiting calculation dates: After the submission period, we provide one week for article rating to reach community consensus. All titles in the contest are closed to further submissions and Leapfrogs during this time. (Your article’s rank may fluctuate wildly or hardly move.)
• Winners: Winners are typically announced on Wednesday, the week after the submission period ends and prizes credited by week’s end. Read more about winner selection and contest points on the Contest Rules page.
• Completed contest: Once the contest is closed and the results announced, the titles to that contest will reopen for general writing submissions.
